Join Rabbi Jaffe for a three-part series of conversations with rabbis representing the Reconstructionist, Orthodox/Chasidic, and Conservative communities. We will discuss theology, practice, what it means to be a Jew in the modern world, and address the question: are we really one people?
Tuesday evenings, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:
Tuesday, February 28: Conversation with Rabbi Toba Spitzer, past president of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Assembly, rabbi of Congregation Dorshei Tzedek in West Newton.
Tuesday, March 6: Dialog with Rabbi Alti Bukiet of the Beit Chaim Meir Chabad Center of Lexington (and as those who have attended our community rabbinic panels in the past know, a good friend and foil/intellectual adversary of Rabbi Jaffe).
Tuesday, March 13: Discussion with Rabbi Michael Fel, associate Rabbi of Temple Emunah, Lexington. Rabbi Fel was ordained in the spring of 2011 and has quickly become a respected and appreciated part of the clergy team at Temple Emunah.
RSVPs to arusso@templeisaiah.net would be helpful for planning purposes, but not necessary.
