A wide range of Temple programs and activities are supported by the generosity of the Temple Isaiah community, either through the Temple’s endowment or its current use funds.
L’Dor Va Dor Endowment Funds. The name means “from generation to generation.” Contributions to these funds are invested to provide an ongoing and stable source of revenue for the Temple, both now and in the future.
Current Use Funds. Contributions to these funds are used, as needed, to pay for programs, activities and other expenses.
We are particularly grateful for unrestricted gifts, which allow us to reduce the dues burden on our members. There are two different ways that people can provide this much-needed support.
- L’Dor Va Dor General Fund. Annual distributions from this endowment fund support the general operating budget, thus reducing the annual dues charged to Temple members.
- Isaiah Fund. This current use fund serves as a source of unrestricted money for the general operation of the temple.
Those who wish to support specific Temple Isaiah activities and services may choose from a variety of existing funds or create a new fund with their gift. Click on the fund categories below to see the full range of temple giving options.
Torah Funds support education.
Kehillah Funds support the Isaiah community, the Jewish community and the broader world community.
Avodah Funds support the worship experience.
Mishkan Funds maintain and improve our beautiful temple building.
In addition, discretionary funds for each of our clergy -- Rabbi Jaffe, Rabbi Brown and Cantor Doob -- allow them to support religious, charitable and educational causes of their own choosing.
